ABOUT ULEAD

The Urban Leadership Education and Development Institute, Inc. ("ULEAD Institute") was launched in Washington, DC on January 13, 2016.  ULEAD Institute provides leadership training and educational services to high school students and to organizations supporting student leaders. 

We believe that leaders use their gifts and talents to make impact in the community.  Leaders have an understanding of their identity and the skills they bring to the table.  Leaders understand that leadership is rooted in service to the community, benefiting from the gifts of one another.  Communication is central to leaders connecting to the community to share their vision of how the leader plans to make impact.  Finally, leaders must learn to be adaptable and always ready to learn, grow, and develop.
